The Mantoplate and its derivatives are different from all the existing products on the market of thermal insulation, soundproofing and acoustic correction.
Rock wool, wood fiber, cellulose wadding, expanded polystyrene, polyurethane. All these materials can meet one or two objectives: attractive price, effective thermal insulation, mechanical resistance, ecological … but all have negative counterparts: irritating to the installation, thermal bridges, complexity of installation, significant thickness, not permeable to water vapor….
Mantoplate alone concentrates all the positive points: it is a first-rate thermal and acoustic insulator, ecological, “perspiring”, reflective, fireproof, refractory, and this without any negative counterpart.
Whether for construction or renovation, Mantoplate and its derivatives adhere to any support without primer or clinging, they do not require any drilling or joint, which guarantees a total absence of thermal bridges and consequently no heat or cold loss depending on the environment in which it is used.

A single centimeter of Mantoplate thickness is enough to ensure effective insulation. The temperature of the place in which it is applied is not impacted by the external environment, so in case of strong external heat or on the contrary of great cold, the place will benefit from an appropriate ambient temperature.
Unlike other existing insulation solutions, it has the singularity of being able to be applied to the exterior of any surface (stone, concrete, glass, brick ….) or to the interior. Regardless of the method used, it offers the same energy performance.
The presence of alveolar rock in its composition, allows the construction in which it is applied not to be exposed to risks of indoor pollution, mold, fungi impacting the health of its population, since it regulates the humidity of the ambient air and purifies it as a photocatalytic material.
Its resistance to fire and heat propagation makes it a perfect ally for ecological wood constructions.
Breathable and water vapor permeability
It is the ideal material in additive construction (3D printing) to smooth out the very uneven surfaces of these new constructions.
Unlike some materials, such as glass wool, it cannot be subjected to colonization by rodents or insects, while preserving the latter, access to the places where it was applied is inviolable.
Mantoplate and its derivatives have a long life, they ensure a long term protection, they are insensitive to acid rain and other acids, with a low thickness of product they protect surfaces from cracking, cracks…
Mantoplate and its derivatives are the perfect answer on the one hand, to acoustic insulation or phonic insulation which allows to protect from noises coming from the outside of a room and on the other hand, to acoustic correction which allows to reduce the sound reverberation in this room via the walls, the ceiling or the floor.
Against impact noise resulting from a wall (floor or ceiling) vibrated by a direct shock, the treatments generally proposed consists of installing simple coverings such as thick carpet, linoleum, flexible tiles, parquet on floating joists, etc., as well as thin acoustic underlay, or underlay based on mineral wool.
Against airborne noise (voice, radio, TV …) or noise from common equipment of the building (boiler, elevator …), the only solution to improve acoustic comfort is often to strengthen the walls of the place by installing single or double walls.
The Mantoplate allows to counter all the impact or propagated noises, 1cm = 18db of sound absorption, the properties of the Mantoplate give it an elasticity as efficient as glass or rock wool without loss of surface.
The absorption coefficient of Mantoplate and its derivatives, due to their porous structure, are equal to or better than those of glass wool, membranes, or medium frequency resonators at low frequencies.
Thus, they correct the acoustics by limiting the propagation of sound in the room where they are applied, by reducing the part of reverberation of the sound on the walls of the room by the notion of acoustic absorption thus controlling the sound level, improving the quality of listening and the intelligibility of the speech within this same room.
2 centimeters of Mantoplate = 49 decibels of absorption.
Applied in a recording studio, a nightclub, a concert hall …. they provide an extraordinary sound insulation and acoustic correction without denaturing or negatively influencing the propagated sound.
